Get it only from phantom.com/download: browser extension for Chrome, Brave, Firefox or Edge, or the iPhone / Android app. Skip search ads, because fake Phantom apps exist.

Create a new wallet
Choose “Create a new wallet”. On desktop, set a strong password. On mobile, turn on Face ID or fingerprint unlock.

Save your 12-word recovery phrase
Write the words on paper, in order, and keep them offline. No screenshots, no cloud notes, never type them into a website. Anyone with these words controls your wallet.

Use your Solana address
Phantom supports several networks. When you receive SOL, copy your Solana address. Sending on the wrong network can lose your funds.

Add SOL
Buy SOL inside Phantom, or send it from an exchange to your Solana address. Keep a little extra SOL to pay network fees.

Connect safely
On mobile, open pookiethegremlin.com in Phantom’s built-in browser. Before connecting, check the address bar says pookiethegremlin.com, and read Phantom’s preview before you approve. If Phantom shows a warning, stop.
